Machinery Painter

JOB TITLE: Machinery Painter (2nd shift) 

ABOUT THE JOB: 

Rate of Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour (paid weekly) 

Overtime Rate: $31.50 to $33.00 per hour 

2nd Shift Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am 

JOB SUMMARY: The primary tasks of the Industrial Machinery Painter involve painting steel machine  frames and components within an on-site painting booth. 

• Paint the manufactured machinery and components with our "Electro-static" guns 

• Painting takes place in a well-ventilated, well-lighted paint booth within our building 

• The majority of the product to be painted are steel frames…..beams, bars and channels 

• Preparation of surface and materials for painting 

• Clean and maintain paint equipment 

• Necessary training, equipment, and fit-testing provided

DESIRED SKILLS: 

• Previous experience with industrial painting is a plus 

• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus 

• Ability to read a tape measure
