DISPATCHER/CUSTOMER SERVICE/ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Position Type:  Temp to Hire

  • Requirements: Resume / Interview / E-Verify / Background Check / Drug Test  

  • HOURS:  Flexible Schedule – Tue through Sat/ Schedule might be subject to change 

  • START TIME: 8:30 am-5:00 pm (Hours may change based on scheduling needs – you could also start earlier)

  • PAY:  $19.00 an hour 

  • Location: Franklin Park, IL 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for professional, timely and effective internal and external driver interaction via phone calls and system messages by building and maintaining a positive attitude to strengthen driver engagement in order to minimize turnover and improve driver satisfaction and productivity.

  • Ability to effectively assign loads on drivers to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction and driver retention for assigned market areas.

  • Responsible for driver load monitoring, including resolving any issues that may affect the scheduled times for pick up or delivery while proactive communicating to the affected customers. The problem normally includes truck mechanical problems, traffic or weather issues or customer directed shipment changes.

  • Responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and resolving problems for our drivers, contractors, and/or carriers.

  •  Must have exceptional proactive communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to quickly resolve issues related to timely pickup and delivery of shipments.

  • Documenting all activity with the team who are working  in the field along with any resolutions to ensure a great customer experience. 

  • Answering phone calls and making “completion calls” to customers.

  • Responsible for promoting a professional workplace while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent phone communication skills and etiquette

  • Ability to use multiple different interfaces including Excel and PowerPoint.
