Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Shift: 6:30am – 2pm Monday to Friday 

Pay Starting: $18.00+

Location: Elmhurst, IL 

Position Type: Temp to hire

Job Description:

Ensure that all building systems are functioning properly by performing preventative maintenance tasks, repairing the various systems as needed, and assisting in the planning, management and completion of facility improvement projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing and carpentry

• Working knowledge of refrigeration systems a plus

• Ability to read piping and wiring schematics a plus

Qualifications:

• Good mechanical skills

• Excellent  interpersonal, organizational & listening skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to multitask

• A sense of humor
